Job Overview :
We are seeking a highly motivated Automation Engineer with a strong foundation in Python scripting, CI/CD practices, and data governance principles. The ideal candidate will demonstrate adaptability through continuous learning and possess hands-on experience in creating automated solutions to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts using Python and Shell scripting to improve operational workflows
- Create, configure, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to automate build, test, and deployment processes
- Develop and integrate solutions using REST APIs to enable seamless automation and system integration
- Implement and maintain data governance practices, including access control mechanisms and data cataloging processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and implement scalable solutions
- Monitor and troubleshoot automated jobs and pipelines to ensure reliability and performance
- Document automation processes, procedures, and best practices
Technical Skills :
- Strong proficiency in Python programming and Shell scripting (Bash/PowerShell)
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, particularly Jenkins (job creation, pipeline configuration, automation)
- Working knowledge of REST API design, implementation, and integration
- Experience creating automated jobs and workflows
Data Governance :
- Understanding of access control principles and implementation
- Knowledge of data cataloging concepts and practices
- Familiarity with data governance frameworks and compliance requirements
Soft Skills :
- Demonstrated adaptability and commitment to continuous learning
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently and in team environments
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience with version control systems (Git, GitHub)

- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
Education :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
- Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of formal education
Total Experience : 4 - 5 years
