Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation, monitoring, and provisioning tasks across Windows-based systems.
- Write, optimize, and manage SQL queries to extract, transform, and load data used in automation workflows.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, DevOps, and data engineering teams to deliver end-to-end automation solutions.
- Create reusable components, scripts, and automation templates with proper documentation.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of operational runbooks and incident response automation procedures.
- Continuously improve automation standards, tooling, and best practices.
- Participate in troubleshooting and debugging of automation-related issues in production and staging environments.
Must-Have Skills :
- Proven experience as an Automation Engineer or in a similar scripting/automation role.
- Strong expertise in PowerShell scripting for Windows systems.
- Solid understanding of Windows Server environments, system administration, and task automation.
- Experience with SQL and working with databases for automation-related data handling.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good-to-Have Skills :
- Exposure to DevOps principles and collaboration with CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with tools such as Jenkins, Git, Azure DevOps, or similar.
- Basic understanding of CI/CD practices and integration with version control systems.
- Knowledge of automation in hybrid or cloud environments (e.g., Azure, AWS) is a plus.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- [Optional : Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified : PowerShell, Azure Administrator, etc.]
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong documentation practices and teamwork mindset.
