As an Aurora PostgreSQL Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for architecting and maintaining highly resilient database environments within the AWS ecosystem. You will work closely with cross-functional engineering teams to eliminate manual operational overhead through sophisticated automation frameworks. Your primary impact will be ensuring the stability, performance, and security of large-scale database clusters, directly influencing the reliability of the platforms our clients depend on daily.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement automated workflows for Aurora PostgreSQL provisioning and lifecycle management to reduce deployment lead times.

- Execute complex database performance tuning initiatives to optimize query execution and resource utilization for high-traffic applications.

- Develop and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to ensure seamless database schema migrations and configuration updates.

- Architect automated testing suites to validate database integrity and performance benchmarks before production releases.

- Implement infrastructure-as-code solutions using Ansible to maintain consistent database configurations across multi-region AWS environments.

- Create advanced Shell scripting solutions to automate routine maintenance tasks and monitoring alerts across both Oracle and PostgreSQL ecosystems.

- Lead database reliability engineering efforts by identifying systemic bottlenecks and implementing proactive self-healing mechanisms.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in managing and scaling Aurora PostgreSQL environments within complex AWS cloud architectures.

- Proven ability to write production-grade Python and Shell scripts to automate intricate database administration tasks.

- Strong proficiency in configuring and managing Jenkins pipelines and Ansible playbooks for automated infrastructure deployment.
