Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :

- Take ownership of the development, enhancement, and support of software initiatives within the Risk & Finance Lab.

- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain applications in accordance with established software development lifecycle practices.

- Build and maintain solutions using C#, .NET, Microsoft SQL Server, and Azure technologies.

- Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Agility Leads, Customer Journey Managers, and integration teams to understand requirements and deliver business-aligned solutions.

- Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Follow DevOps best practices, including continuous integration, continuous deployment, and metrics-driven development.

- Maintain code quality, performance, reliability, and application security.

- Mentor junior engineers and promote coding standards, engineering best practices, and a culture of technical excellence.

- Work with existing enterprise and legacy systems, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to their ongoing modernization.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

- Strong hands-on programming experience in C# / .NET.

- Excellent experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including SQL development and database-related operations.

- Practical hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.

- Good understanding of DevOps methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and metrics-driven development.

- Experience with source code management tools such as Git or Subversion.

- Experience working in Agile software development environments.

- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.

- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to understand, work with, and maintain complex legacy applications.

- Exposure to Financial Markets, Capital Markets, or related financial services domains.

Good-to-Have Skills :

- Exposure to public cloud platforms such as Azure or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

- Experience with High-Performance Computing (HPC) or grid computing.

- Knowledge of containerization technologies and Kubernetes.

- Basic understanding of financial instruments such as Futures, Options, Interest Rate Swaps, and Bonds.

- Experience developing C# REST APIs or working with SAML-based interfaces.

- Knowledge of Apache Spark.

- Exposure to Scala or functional programming concepts.

- Experience with AKKA or AKKA.NET.

- Familiarity with Power BI.
