About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced Lead / Senior C# .NET Developer with 8 - 10 years of hands-on software development experience to design, develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise-grade applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in C#, .NET technologies, Microsoft SQL Server, and Microsoft Azure, along with a solid understanding of software engineering principles, DevOps practices, and Agile methodologies.

The candidate will work on complex, large-scale applications, including legacy systems, and collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver scalable, high-performance, and reliable software solutions. Exposure to Capital Markets or Financial Markets is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-level applications using C# and .NET technologies.

- Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and high-quality code following established coding standards.

- Apply object-oriented programming (OOP), design patterns, SOLID principles, and software engineering best practices.

- Develop and maintain REST APIs, backend services, and application integrations.

- Troubleshoot complex technical issues, debug applications, and optimize application performance.

- Design, develop, and maintain database objects, including tables, views, stored procedures, and functions.

- Write complex SQL queries and perform query optimization.

- Work on database performance tuning, indexing, and troubleshooting.

- Ensure data integrity, consistency, and efficient database operations.

- Develop, deploy, and support applications hosted on Microsoft Azure.

- Work with Azure cloud services and understand cloud-based application architecture.

- Support cloud migration, application modernization, and scalability initiatives.

- Troubleshoot cloud-related application and infrastructure issues.

- Follow standard DevOps methodologies and contribute to continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.

- Work with automated build, testing, deployment, and release pipelines.

- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

- Collaborate with developers, architects, QA engineers, business analysts, and other stakeholders.

- Understand, analyze, and enhance large-scale legacy software systems.

- Provide technical guidance and support to development team members.

Mandatory Technical Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience in C# and .NET development.

- Excellent foundation in object-oriented programming and software engineering concepts.

- Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server and complex SQL queries.

- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.

- Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

- Experience with Git or Subversion (SVN) for source code management.

- Practical experience working in Agile development environments.

- Exposure to Capital Markets, Financial Markets, or BFSI domain.

- Experience with Docker, Containers, and Kubernetes.

- Experience developing C# REST APIs and SAML-based integrations.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or an equivalent technical discipline.
