Job Title : Infrastructure Support Engineer (End-User Support)



Location : Mumbai, India



Position Type : Full-Time | On-Site (5 Days a Week)




Overview :



We are looking for a dedicated and proactive Infrastructure Support Engineer to provide in-person end-user support and ensure smooth IT operations across the organization. This role is fully on-site and demands strong technical proficiency coupled with excellent interpersonal and communication skills to deliver a professional, high-quality support experience.



Key Responsibilities :



- Serve as the first point of contact for all on-site IT support needs, ensuring timely and courteous issue resolution



- Provide hands-on troubleshooting for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, network, and conferencing equipment



- Support Windows, macOS, Office 365, VPN, and collaboration platforms (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)



- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access through Active Directory and related tools



- Maintain endpoint compliance and coordinate with central infrastructure teams for patching and updates



- Handle employee onboarding/offboarding, including system setup, device provisioning, and access configuration



- Log, track, and close tickets in the ITSM system, maintaining detailed and accurate documentation



- Ensure all IT assets are inventoried, labeled, and maintained in working condition.



- Collaborate with internal teams to continuously improve user satisfaction and service delivery



Required Skills and Qualifications :



- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)



- 5+ years of experience providing on-site end-user and desktop support in a corporate environment



Proficient in :



- Windows 10/11 and macOS troubleshooting



- Office 365 Administration and productivity applications



- Active Directory, Group Policy, and basic networking concepts (LAN/Wi-Fi/VPN)



- Strong understanding of IT security best practices for endpoints



- Excellent communication, executive-level user engagement, and customer service orientation



- Demonstrated ability to stay calm under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively



- Team player with a positive, service-minded attitude and a sense of ownership



Preferred Qualifications :



- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft 365 Certified : Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, or ITIL Foundation



- Experience supporting conference rooms, AV systems, and executive-level users



- Exposure to ticketing systems like ServiceNow and Jira
