Job Responsibilities :

As a WebFOCUS Development Engineer, your core responsibilities will include :

- Designing, developing, testing, and deploying WebFOCUS reports, dashboards, and visualizations.

- Creating and managing WebFOCUS procedures (.fex), metadata layers, and reporting cubes.

- Building and maintaining ReportCaster schedules for automated report distribution.

- Collaborating with business users and product managers to gather requirements and deliver insights.

- Performing data analysis, data modeling, and report optimization.

- Writing clear and effective functional and technical documentation.

- Participating in solution architecture discussions and offering technical recommendations.

- Ensuring report performance, access security, and high-quality user experiences.

Must Have Skills :

- 37 years of experience in WebFOCUS development.

- Strong command of App Studio, InfoAssist, Developer Studio.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Expertise in :

1. WebFOCUS metadata modeling (Master/Access file creation).

2. WebFOCUS report/cube development.

3. ReportCaster configuration and scheduling.

4. WebFOCUS security design and sign-on integration.

- Proficiency in SQL and working with relational databases.

- Knowledge of PowerBI, Microsoft Fabric and familiarity with Azure Services.

- Strong understanding of JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to engage directly with end-users for dashboard design and troubleshooting.

Nice To Have :

- Familiarity with Azure Services like Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Databricks.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
