Associate Lead Consultant - SAP ABAP Programming

Key Responsibilities :

reports, RFCs, and other SAP development tools.

- Develop and enhance SAP interfaces using BAPI, RFC, ALE/IDoc, and data conversion tools like BDC/LSMW.

- Build and maintain Adobe Forms, CDS Views, OData services, and SAP Fiori applications.

- Translate functional specifications into detailed SAP ABAP technical specifications and ensure alignment with business requirements.

- Optimize ABAP programs and database queries to improve system performance, especially on SAP HANA platforms.

- Implement enhancements using explicit and implicit BADIs and enhancement frameworks.

- Collaborate with functional teams and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality and customer-centric solutions.

- Perform code reviews, unit testing, and debugging to ensure solution quality and reliability.

- Follow SAP development best practices and adhere to coding standards.

- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for SAP ABAP related issues.

- Maintain documentation for developed solutions and processes.

Required Qualifications & Skills :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.

- Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development, including HANA ABAP/ABAP Objects.

- Strong experience in Dialog Programming, User-Exits, BADIs, Smart Forms, ALV, RFCs, and related SAP technologies.

- Proficient in ABAP Reports, OData services, Interfaces (BAPI, RFC, ALE/IDoc), Conversions (BDC/LSMW), Enhancements (BADI, Implicit/Explicit), Forms (Adobe Forms), CDS Views, and SAP Fiori development.

- Expertise in SAP HANA database and performance optimization techniques.

- Ability to translate functional requirements into technical solutions effectively.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a customer-focused mindset.

- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills :

- Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA environment and migration projects.

- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

- Ability to mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
