Associate Engineering Director - Node.js/Express.js

Key Responsibilities :

- Manage and mentor backend engineers through code reviews, performance evaluations, and 1 : 1s.

- Drive backend architecture design, implementation, and optimization.

- Provide technical leadership in client-facing engagements.

- Ensure backend systems remain secure, scalable, and maintainable.

- Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and product teams to deliver high-impact features.

- Define and enforce engineering standards across the company.

What We're Looking For :

- Experience in IT services with direct client involvement (a must).

- Strong proficiency in backend technologies (Node.js, Express, NestJS, SQL/NoSQL databases).

- Deep understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and microservices architecture.

- Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD, and performance monitoring tools.

- Excellent leadership, mentoring, and communication skills.

- Interest in AI, automation, or developer productivity tools is a plus
