We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager Network Services to manage, maintain, and optimize our organization's network infrastructure.

The role involves overseeing network operations, ensuring high availability, monitoring network performance, leading a team of network engineers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement new technologies.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with enterprise networks, cloud connectivity, network security, and vendor management, along with strong leadership skills to manage projects and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities :

Network Operations & Management :

- Monitor, maintain, and optimize enterprise network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPNs, and cloud connectivity.

- Ensure high network uptime, performance, and reliability for all users and business-critical applications.

- Troubleshoot network issues and provide timely resolutions, minimizing downtime.

Team Leadership & Support :

- Lead and mentor a team of network engineers and administrators.

- Assign tasks, monitor performance, and support skill development.

- Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions and implement process improvements.

Network Security & Compliance :

- Implement and maintain network security protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPN policies.

- Ensure compliance with industry standards, IT policies, and regulatory requirements.

- Conduct periodic network audits and vulnerability assessments.

Project Management :

- Plan and execute network upgrades, migrations, and new implementations.

- Collaborate with IT, security, and operations teams for cross-functional projects.

- Coordinate with vendors for procurement, support, and maintenance of network devices.

Documentation & Reporting :

- Maintain accurate network topology, configurations, and inventory documentation.

- Generate reports on network performance, incidents, and projects for management review.

- Define and implement network policies, standard operating procedures, and disaster recovery plans.

Technical Skills & Qualifications :

Education :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or related field.

Experience :

- 5 to 8 years in network management, IT operations, or related roles.

Technical Skills :

- Expertise in routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, wireless LAN.

- Knowledge of network protocols: TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, DNS, DHCP.

- Hands-on experience with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Nagios, PRTG, etc.

- Experience with cloud networking (AWS VPC, Azure Virtual Network, SD-WAN) is preferred.

- Familiarity with network security standards and practices.

- Understanding of VoIP, WAN optimization, and network troubleshooting.
