We are seeking an experienced Senior MongoDB Developer to design, build, and optimize document-oriented database solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in MongoDB architecture, schema design, performance optimization, and cloud-based deployments, along with hands-on experience in distributed environments. Experience with MongoDB Atlas Change Streams is highly preferred; however, candidates with a strong understanding of change data capture mechanisms / other Change Streams technologies are also encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement MongoDB schemas aligned with application access patterns and performance requirements.

- Develop and optimize queries, aggregations, and indexing strategies.

- Implement and manage Change Streams (preferably MongoDB Atlas Change Streams) for real-time data processing and event-driven architectures.

- Collaborate with application teams to integrate MongoDB with backend services and APIs.

- Deploy and manage MongoDB on cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP).

- Configure and maintain replica sets, sharding, backup, and recovery strategies.

- Monitor system performance and proactively resolve scalability, availability, and reliability issues.

- Ensure data security, access control, and adherence to industry best practices.

- Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and performance tuning initiatives.

- Work closely with DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Must have at least 4+ Years of strong hands-on experience with MongoDB, including schema design, indexing, aggregations, and performance tuning.

- Experience with MongoDB Change Streams; exposure to MongoDB Atlas Change Streams is highly preferred.

- Understanding of change data capture (CDC) or similar event streaming mechanisms.

- Experience working in cloud environments (AWS / Azure / GCP).

- Solid knowledge of NoSQL databases and distributed systems.

- Experience with backup, recovery, and high availability strategies.

- Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Hands-on experience with MongoDB Atlas.

- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.

- Exposure to Kafka or other messaging systems.

- Experience in data migration and large-scale data ingestion.

- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
