What you'll do :

- Lead the design and implementation of complex, end-to-end features (design - code - test - release - observe).

- Improve system performance and reliability by debugging complex issues across the stack and implementing scalable solutions.

- Partner with product/design to define requirements, break down ambiguous problems, and influence the product roadmap.

- Own the operational health of services you build, including monitoring, alerting, and on-call rotations.

- Mentor junior engineers (L1s), lead by example with high-quality code, and improve team-wide engineering standards.

Qualifications :

- 2-5 years of professional software engineering experience.

- Deep expertise in one modern language (TypeScript/JS, Python, Go, or Java) and proficiency in others.

- Strong, hands-on experience building and consuming web APIs (REST/GraphQL), utilizing caching strategies (e.g., Redis), and working with message queues.

- Proven ability to design and query SQL/NoSQL databases effectively.

- Solid experience with CI/CD, Docker, and a major cloud provider (AWS/GCP).

Nice to have : Experience with infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform), advanced database optimization, designing distributed systems, or prompt engineering.
