Job Overview :

We are looking for a Lead Artificial Intelligence Engineer to spearhead the design, development, and deployment of cutting-edge AI solutions. This role will lead a team of AI Engineers and Data Scientists while collaborating cross-functionally to drive business impact through intelligent, data-driven systems. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in NLP, LLMs, and real-world AI implementation, with a strong foundation in software engineering and MLOps.

Key Responsibilities :

- Team Leadership : Inspire and lead a team of AI Engineers and Data Scientists, fostering innovation, collaboration, and continuous development.

- Project Ownership : Take end-to-end responsibility for AI projects from ideation and architecture to development, deployment, and monitoring.

- AI Development : Design and implement AI/ML models using Python, Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and other modern frameworks.

- NLP & LLMs : Build and optimize real-world applications leveraging Natural Language Processing and Large Language Models (LLMs).

- MLOps & Engineering : Develop and manage end-to-end ML pipelines, integrating with CI/CD systems, using tools like Docker and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

- System Architecture : Collaborate with software and data engineers to define robust and scalable architectures.

- Cross-functional Collaboration : Work closely with product managers, business teams, and engineers to align AI initiatives with business goals.

- Risk Management : Identify project risks early, conduct root cause analyses, and implement mitigation strategies.

- Documentation & Standards : Ensure technical documentation and maintain coding best practices throughout the lifecycle.

- Mentorship & Growth : Coach junior team members, identify upskilling needs, and support their career development.

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, AI, or a related field.

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in AI/ML or Data Science in real-world applications.

- Strong experience in Python and libraries like NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, etc.

- Expertise in Natural Language Processing (preferred) or Computer Vision.

- Experience building and deploying AI systems in production.

- Proficiency in ML frameworks : PyTorch, TensorFlow.

- Strong understanding of Generative AI and practical experience with LLMs.

- Experience with web frameworks such as Flask, FastAPI, or Django.

- Cloud experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.

- Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL, Git, CI/CD, and containerization tools like Docker.

- Solid grasp of software engineering principles and MLOps practices.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with Big Data tools like Apache Spark, Kafka, Kinesis.

- Familiarity with cloud ML platforms such as AWS SageMaker or GCP ML Engine.

- Exposure to data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
