Job Description :
- Expertise in AOSP Frameworks, Android Customization and Android Audio.
- 5+ years' experience in C++ (STL, Templates, Exceptions, Threading), Java ,Python.
- Experience in Component/System Design (SOLID principles and Design Patterns).
- Experience in Audio Domain, especially Android Audio.
- Strong Knowledge of Android Framework, Audio Service, Android Treble, VNDK, AIDL, HIDL.
- Experience in Implementing Custom HAL ( eg : Audio, GNSS etc ).
- Experience with Android CTS/VTS.
- Android OS migration, Android security, SELinux, FBE, FDE.
- Experience with CI/CI, Jenkins.
- Exposure to Scrum, JIRA, BitBucket, Artifactory etc.
Key Responsibilities :
- Work on AOSP frameworks, Android customization, and system-level development.
- Contribute to Android OS bring-up, platform integration, performance optimization, and migration across versions.
- Develop and optimize components using C++ (STL, templates, threading, exceptions).
- Implement system-level features following SOLID principles and modern design patterns.
- Work extensively on the Android audio domain, including Audio Framework, Audio Services, and HAL layers.
- Customize and enhance audio components for performance, quality, and integration.
- Design and implement Custom HALs (e.g., Audio, GNSS, etc.).
- Work with AIDL, HIDL, Treble, and VNDK for system integration and abstraction.
- Work with Android CTS/VTS frameworks to ensure product compliance and certification.
- Troubleshoot system issues across framework, HAL, and kernel levels.
- Contribute to Android security features including SELinux, FBE, FDE, and system hardening.
- Participate in Android OS migration and platform-level upgrades.
- Work with CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, and automated build/test frameworks.
- Ensure seamless integration, continuous testing, and deployment efficiency.
- Work in an Agile/Scrum environment using tools like JIRA, Bitbucket, and Artifactory.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Firmware, QA, Device Integration, Audio Engineering).
