About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced ARAS Developer to design, develop, customize, and implement ARAS Innovator solutions for Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Product Data Management (PDM).

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with the ARAS Innovator platform, along with expertise in C#, .NET, AML, server-side and client-side development. The role involves working closely with business, engineering, and IT teams to translate requirements into scalable PLM/PDM solutions, workflows, integrations, and customizations.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and customize solutions using the ARAS Innovator PLM platform.

- Develop and maintain server-side and client-side customizations using C#, .NET, JavaScript, and AML.

- Configure and customize ARAS Items, ItemTypes, Forms, Relationships, Workflows, Lifecycles, and Permissions.

- Develop and optimize AML (Aras Markup Language) queries and server methods.

- Implement PLM/PDM workflows, data models, business rules, and lifecycle processes.

- Integrate ARAS Innovator with enterprise applications and external systems using APIs, web services, and other integration mechanisms.

- Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into ARAS-based solutions.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application and integration issues.

- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support deployment activities.

- Work with cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, product engineering, QA, and IT teams.

- Support ARAS upgrades, migrations, version control, and deployment across environments.

- Follow ARAS development standards, architecture guidelines, coding practices, and deployment best practices.

- Prepare technical documentation for customizations, integrations, workflows, and deployment processes.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Hands-on experience with ARAS Innovator / Aras PLM development and customization.

- Strong understanding of PLM/PDM concepts and product data management processes.

- Proficiency in C# and .NET development.

- Strong knowledge of AML (Aras Markup Language).

- Experience with server-side and client-side ARAS development.

- Good understanding of ARAS Framework and architecture.

- Experience configuring ItemTypes, Forms, Relationships, Workflows, Lifecycles, and Permissions.

- Experience with JavaScript and web-based application development.

- Knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs, web services, and enterprise system integrations.

- Understanding of database concepts and SQL.

- Experience with ARAS versioning, deployment, troubleshooting, and environment management.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with ARAS Innovator integrations with ERP, CAD, MES, or other enterprise applications.

- Experience with ARAS upgrades and migrations.

- Knowledge of CAD/PLM integrations and engineering data management.

- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and SDLC practices.

- Experience with Git or other version-control systems.

- Knowledge of cloud or enterprise application deployment is an advantage.
