Aptean - Senior Engineer - ERP Solutions

Key Responsibilities :

ERP Solution Design & Development :

- Develop and enhance ERP modules, workflows, and integrations based on industry-specific requirements.

- Ensure ERP solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with business processes.

Customization & Integration :

- Implement client-specific customizations in ERP modules.

- Integrate ERP solutions with third-party systems such as CRM, SCM, HRMS, or legacy platforms.

- Collaborate with client teams to understand data, reporting, and workflow requirements.

Testing & Quality Assurance :

- Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and system testing for custom ERP modules.

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in ERP configurations and customizations.

- Ensure high quality and reliability of ERP deployments.

Collaboration & Client Interaction :

- Work closely with functional consultants, project managers, and client stakeholders.

- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and solutions.

- Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and knowledge sharing within the engineering team.

Continuous Improvement :

- Identify opportunities for process automation, performance optimization, and feature enhancement.

- Stay up-to-date with ERP trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices.

- Contribute to documentation, training materials, and support knowledge base.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 5 to 10 years of experience in ERP development, customization, or implementation.

- Strong experience with ERP platforms (e.g., Aptean, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).

- Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in ERP customization (e.g., C#, .NET, Java, SQL).

- Knowledge of database systems (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL) and query optimization.

- Experience with integration technologies (REST/SOAP APIs, Web Services, middleware).

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred / Good to Have :

- Experience in industry-specific ERP solutions (manufacturing, distribution, finance, or services).

- Exposure to cloud-based ERP deployments and SaaS solutions.

- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology.

- Knowledge of reporting tools (Power BI, Crystal Reports, SSRS).

- ERP certifications or training (Aptean-specific certifications are a plus)
