The SRE group is a team of engineers with relationships across the company. Our goal is to provide Infrastructure as Code and develop software capabilities to accelerate product iteration, quality, and security, in addition to owning and supporting the datacenter and cloud operations. As an Engineer in this team, youll work with a team of experienced SREs and developers, collaborate with multiple engineering, product, and business teams, build and evolve our operations practices, deploy DC/Cloud infrastructure as needed.

Experience Level : 4 - 5 years

Responsibilities :

- Create reusable solutions using terraform plans, chef recipes and cookbooks, DSL for provisioning for maintaining and decommissioning the infrastructure

- Provide day-to-day support of multiple environments such as Production, Preproduction, and QA

- Provide 24x7 support for platform infrastructures

- Work closely with other organizations to coach and develop best practices.

- Document and update procedures and processes.

- Provide On-call support one week per month.

- Be flexible to perform additional duties as required.

Must Have :

- Demonstrated development experience with one or more languages like Java, Python, Javascript etc

- 4+ years of experience using technologies like Terraform, Chef, Jenkins, Docker and Kubernetes

- 4+ years of experience using Linux

- 2+ years of working experience in GCP

- 2+ years of experience using any of the Relational (MySQL, Postgres), NoSQL databases (Mongo, Elasticsearch)

- Jenkins shared libraries development, declarative pipeline development using Groovy

- Experience with agile framework & methodologies

- Containerized application development specifically using Docker/Kubernetes

- Good understanding of networking and security concepts

- Excellent communication & Self-management skills

- Exceptional problem-solving skills with an obsessive attention to detail.

Nice to Have :

- Understanding of SOC, HiTrust Compliance.

- Experience with Consul, and Vault

- Experience with Kafka

Qualifications :

- BS in Computer Science, Engineering, related field with overall 4 - 5 years of experience.
