Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Power BI Developer with 7+ years of expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise Business Intelligence (BI) solutions.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Power BI, DAX, Power Query, SQL, data modeling, and ETL processes. The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders to deliver scalable dashboards, reports, and actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.

- Gather business requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions.

- Create robust data models using Star Schema and Snowflake Schema.

- Develop complex DAX measures, calculated columns, and KPIs.

- Perform data transformation and cleansing using Power Query (M Language).

- Connect Power BI to multiple data sources such as SQL Server, Oracle, Azure, Excel, SharePoint, and REST APIs.

- Optimize report performance through efficient data modeling and DAX optimization.

- Develop and maintain ETL processes for data integration and reporting.

- Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) and data governance best practices.

- Schedule and manage dataset refreshes using Power BI Service and Gateways.

- Publish, secure, and manage reports and dashboards in Power BI Service.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders.

- Troubleshoot reporting issues and provide production support.

- Prepare technical documentation, deployment guides, and user documentation.

Required Skills :

- 7+ years of experience in Business Intelligence and Power BI development.

- Strong expertise in Microsoft Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.

- Advanced knowledge of DAX, Power Query (M Language), and data modeling.

- Strong SQL skills with experience writing complex queries, stored procedures, and views.

- Experience with ETL tools and data integration processes.

- Hands-on experience with SQL Server, Oracle, Azure SQL, or other relational databases.

- Knowledge of Power BI Gateway configuration and scheduled refresh.

- Experience implementing Row-Level Security (RLS) and workspace management.

- Strong understanding of dimensional modeling and data warehouse concepts.

- Experience integrating Power BI with Azure services is an advantage.

- Familiarity with Git or Azure DevOps for version control and deployment.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Synapse Analytics, or Microsoft Fabric.

- Knowledge of SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS.

- Experience working with large-scale enterprise datasets.

- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

- Microsoft Certified : Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300) or equivalent certification is preferred.
