Role Overview :

As an Engineering Manager for DevOps, you will lead the strategic direction and operational execution of our cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines. You will bridge the gap between software development and IT operations, ensuring that our systems are resilient, scalable, and secure. This role involves mentoring high-performing engineering teams, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to define infrastructure roadmaps, and driving the adoption of best-in-class DevOps practices. Your work will directly influence the reliability of our platforms and the velocity at which we deliver value to our customers.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers to foster a culture of automation, continuous integration, and continuous deployment.

- Architect and manage scalable cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance for global enterprise applications.

- Define and implement security best practices across the development lifecycle to protect sensitive data and maintain compliance.

- Collaborate with product and engineering leadership to align infrastructure capabilities with long-term business objectives and product roadmaps.

- Optimize cloud resource utilization and cost-efficiency to maximize the return on investment for our infrastructure stack.

- Oversee incident management and disaster recovery protocols to ensure minimal downtime and rapid resolution of system issues.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in managing large-scale cloud environments, with a deep understanding of AWS, Azure, or GCP service architectures.

- Proven ability to lead and scale engineering teams, with 12 to 19 years of professional experience in software engineering and DevOps environments.

- Strong proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools and CI/CD pipeline orchestration to automate complex deployment workflows.

- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical requirements into actionable strategies for non-technical stakeholders.

- Advanced problem-solving capabilities, specifically in troubleshooting distributed systems and optimizing performance bottlenecks.

- Ability to thrive in a remote-first environment, maintaining high levels of productivity and team engagement across distributed locations.

- A degree in Computer Science or a related field, complemented by a track record of driving significant technical initiatives.
