Apptware is Hiring | Senior Data Scientist NLP / Generative AI | Pune.

Apptware is looking for an experienced Data Scientist / NLP Engineer to design and deploy cutting-edge Generative AI models that power intelligent business solutions across CRM, Sales, and Revenue Operations.

Location : Pune.

Notice Period : Immediate joiners or up to 30 days.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement advanced NLP and Generative AI models (GPT, BERT, T5, etc.) for text generation, summarization, sentiment analysis, and conversational AI.

- Collaborate with leadership, product, and customer success teams to deliver AI-driven solutions for real-world enterprise use cases in CRM and sales intelligence.

- Lead the full machine learning model lifecycle from design, training, and evaluation to deployment, monitoring, and performance optimization.

- Enhance the companys conversational intelligence platform with next-generation NLP and deep learning capabilities.

- Collaborate cross-functionally with Data Science, Engineering, and Product teams to ensure seamless integration of models into production systems.

- Develop production-grade, maintainable, and well-tested code for AI model deployment.

- Conduct research and continuously evaluate the latest advancements in AI to improve model performance and scalability.

- Provide mentorship to junior team members and contribute to data science best practices.

Required Skills and Experience :

- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Machine Learning, NLP, or Generative AI.

- Strong expertise in transformer-based architectures such as GPT, BERT, and T5.

- Proficiency in Python and machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face Transformers, scikit-learn, XGBoost, and Pandas.

- Hands-on experience with NLP tools (NLTK, spaCy, Stanford NLP).

- Strong foundation in deep learning, statistical modeling, and model evaluation techniques.

- Familiarity with data engineering, feature engineering, and handling large structured and unstructured datasets.

- Experience deploying AI models using AWS, GCP, or Azure, and applying MLOps best practices.

- Experience building AI models for CRM or Sales Intelligence applications is preferred.

- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Education :

Masters or PhD in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
