Elastic Search Developer (Python & Java)

About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced Elastic Search Developer with strong expertise in Python and Java development to design and build scalable search, analytics, and backend solutions. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Elasticsearch, microservices architecture, REST APIs, and cloud technologies, with the ability to develop high-performance enterprise applications and search platforms.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and optimize search and analytics solutions using Elasticsearch.

- Develop and maintain backend applications and microservices using Python, Java, and Spring Boot.

- Build and expose secure, scalable RESTful APIs and integrations.

- Design and implement Elasticsearch indexing strategies, mappings, analyzers, and query optimization techniques.

- Develop advanced search capabilities, including :

1. Full-text search

2. Filtering and aggregations

3. Ranking and relevance scoring

4. Auto-suggestions and autocomplete

5. Fuzzy search

- Integrate Elasticsearch with enterprise applications and third-party systems.

- Implement AI/ML-driven use cases leveraging Elasticsearch capabilities.

- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the development lifecycle and follow DevOps and secure coding best practices.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 6+ years of experience in software development and enterprise application development.

- Strong hands-on experience with :

1. Elasticsearch

2. Python

3. FastAPI

4. Java

5. Spring Boot

- Extensive experience building custom search and analytics applications.

- Strong expertise in :

1. Elasticsearch indexing and query optimization

2. Search relevance and ranking algorithms

3. Aggregations and faceted search

4. RESTful API development and integration

5. Microservices architecture and backend development

- Experience integrating Java/Spring Boot applications with Elasticsearch and enterprise systems.

- Knowledge of AI/ML implementations using Elasticsearch.

- Hands-on experience with :

1. Cloud technologies (preferably Azure)

2. Git and Bitbucket

3. CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

4. Secure coding standards
