About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced Market Connectivity / Exchange Gateway Support Engineer to join our team in Pune. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in supporting market connectivity applications and exchange gateways within an investment banking or capital markets environment.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of exchange connectivity systems, supporting market data applications, and providing timely resolution for production issues. You will work closely with trading desks, dealers, and business stakeholders to maintain reliable and efficient trading connectivity across global exchanges.

Note : Only immediate joiners currently based in Pune will be considered. Candidates requiring relocation will not be considered for this role.

Key Responsibilities :

- Provide production and application support for Market Connectivity platforms and Exchange Gateway systems.

- Support exchange connectivity systems across multiple exchanges and ensure seamless flow of market data and trading connectivity.

- Monitor, analyze, and troubleshoot connectivity issues related to trading systems and market data feeds.

- Work closely with Dealers, Traders, and Business Heads across global teams to resolve issues impacting trading operations.

- Perform incident management, root cause analysis, and issue resolution for production incidents.

- Ensure high availability and reliability of exchange connectivity and market data applications.

- Collaborate with technology teams, infrastructure teams, and vendors for system enhancements and issue resolution.

- Maintain and monitor system logs, alerts, and dashboards to proactively identify potential issues.

- Support system upgrades, deployments, and configuration changes related to market connectivity platforms.

- Document incidents, operational procedures, and troubleshooting steps for knowledge sharing and future reference.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 5+ years of experience supporting Market Connectivity applications and Exchange Gateway systems.

- Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux environments.

- Good working knowledge of SQL for troubleshooting and data analysis.

- Experience working within an Investment Banking or Capital Markets environment.

- Good understanding of FIX Connectivity protocols.

- Experience with OMS (Order Management Systems) or other Market Connectivity platforms.

- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for handling real-time trading and market data issues.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-availability production environment.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience working with trading systems and market data feeds.

- Knowledge of financial markets, trading workflows, and exchange connectivity.

- Familiarity with incident management and monitoring tools.

- Exposure to global trading environments and cross-functional collaboration.
