JOB DESCRIPTION :
- Functioning as an Application Support for the new Cloud platform at one of the corporate investment bank.
- Support the applications hosted on Azure/Databricks and facilitate onboarding of application to the Cloud platform.
- Provide incident, problem, and event management according to the ITIL framework.
- Drive the team to fulfil targets regarding problem management, incident management and meet agreed SLA's.
- Drive incident, request, work driver and alert reduction efforts across an application cluster.
- Face-off to and develop effective working relationships with internal Data Operations, Development, and Infrastructure teams.
- Challenge the status quo and work to improve the support model used by the regional / global teams.
Experience and Skills :
- Should be experienced in leading a team and help in building a team equipped with the skills/knowledge to support Cloud enabled applications.
- Good understanding around Azure services like ADF, ADLS, SQL, Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Azure functions.
- Should be comfortable around APIs and their implementation.
- Should be comfortable in troubleshooting/coordinating for any service issues on Azure.
- Certification encompassing this is good to have.
- Application support will be 24/7 and releases scheduled for weekends so the candidate should be flexible regarding timings and weekend support as required at times.
- Good communication skills and can explain complex technical issues to senior business stakeholders.
- Proven incident & crisis manager who works well under pressure.
