About the Role :

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Application Lead with 68 years of experience in Java development and microservices architecture. In this role, you will lead technical design, development, and implementation efforts while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery. You will also provide mentorship to team members and ensure adherence to engineering best practices.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable applications using modern Java technologies and microservices.

- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in application architecture and cloud-native solutions.

- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to align solutions with business objectives.

- Drive team decisions and resolve complex technical challenges across teams.

- Guide and mentor developers, promote knowledge sharing, and ensure code quality through reviews.

- Monitor project progress, manage timelines, and ensure delivery meets quality and performance standards.

- Contribute to Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement of delivery processes.

Mandatory Skills & Experience :

- 6-8 years of hands-on experience in Core Java, multi-threading, and SQL.

- Strong experience with Microservices Architecture and Lightweight Architecture principles.

- Proficiency in Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Transaction Management.

- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and web service design (REST/SOAP).

- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

- Experience working on cloud platforms like PCF, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

- Familiarity with CI/CD tools : GitLab, TeamCity, Maven, Gradle.

- Experience in Test-Driven Development (TDD) using JUnit, Mockito, Rest Assured, JMeter, or Cypress.

- Working knowledge of Agile methodologies using Jira and Confluence.

- Exposure to front-end technologies like ReactJS, NodeJS, or Angular is a plus.
