As an Application Developer SAP CO, you will be responsible for designing, building, and configuring applications to meet specific business processes and requirements within the SAP Controlling (CO) module. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative, high-performing, and user-friendly solutions. This role requires strong analytical skills, problem-solving capabilities, and a deep understanding of SAP CO functionalities to ensure optimal business performance.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, configure, and enhance SAP CO solutions to support business needs.

- Translate business requirements into functional specifications and technical designs.

- Develop and implement application enhancements, interfaces, and reports related to SAP CO.

- Conduct thorough unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT).

- Work closely with business users, functional consultants, and other development teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.

- Actively participate and contribute to project discussions, providing insights and recommendations.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (FI, MM, SD, etc.) for integrated solution delivery.

- Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve SAP CO-related issues in a timely manner.

- Provide end-user support and training for SAP CO functionalities.

- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process optimization opportunities.

- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, process flows, and solution design documents.

- Maintain version control and change management documentation.

- Share best practices and mentor junior team members when required.

- Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies, tools, and industry best practices.

- Proactively explore new features and capabilities of SAP S/4HANA (if applicable) in the CO domain.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Strong proficiency in SAP CO (Controlling) module : Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Internal Orders (IO), Profit Center Accounting (PCA), Product Costing, and Profitability Analysis (CO-PA).

- Good understanding of SAP FI (Finance) integration with CO.

- Experience with SAP development tools (ABAP debugging, enhancements, user exits preferred).

- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

- Familiarity with database management systems and data modeling concepts.

- Hands-on experience with reporting tools like SAP Query, Report Painter, or BI tools (preferred).

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.

- Strong attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- SAP certification in CO module is an advantage.
