- Strong hands-on experience in Java / J2EE application development.

- Expertise in Spring Framework (Spring Core, Spring Boot, Spring JDBC, Spring MVC).

- Experience with JDBCTemplate, JMSTemplate, and Message Queues (IBM MQ / RabbitMQ / Kafka).

- Good understanding of RESTful Web Services, including JSON, JAX-RS, and API design best practices.

- Solid experience with Oracle or SQL databases writing complex queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning.

- Proficient with Maven, JUnit, and Log4j (or SLF4J) for build, testing, and logging.

- Strong understanding of object-oriented design, exception handling, and multi-threaded programming.

- Familiar with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins / GitLab CI).

- Knowledge of error handling, performance optimisation, and secure coding practices.

- Exposure to Microservices architecture and containerization (Docker) is a plus.

- Experience with cloud environments (AWS / Azure / GCP) preferred but not mandatory.

- Familiarity with Spring Security, JWT, or other authentication frameworks.

- Experience integrating with external APIs and third-party systems.

- Knowledge of JSON to CSV / Excel processing, SFTP, or file-based integration workflows.

- Good problem-solving skills, code debugging, and production issue analysis.

- Ability to work in agile environments and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
