Application Architect - SAP Platform

Key Responsibilities :

Solution Architecture & Design :

- Define, design, and implement scalable integration solutions across enterprise systems.

- Develop architecture blueprints, patterns, and guidelines for seamless data exchange.

- Ensure solutions align with enterprise integration strategy and best practices.

Integration Strategy & Execution :

- Drive integration initiatives using SAP PI/PO, Azure Integration Services, and API Management.

- Establish integration frameworks for hybrid environments (on-premise and cloud).

- Standardize API lifecycle management and security protocols across the enterprise.

Stakeholder Collaboration :

- Partner with business leaders, application owners, and development teams to understand requirements.

- Translate business needs into technical integration solutions.

- Act as a trusted advisor for integration best practices and emerging technologies.

Governance & Compliance :

- Ensure integration solutions comply with organizational security, data privacy, and governance standards.

- Maintain documentation for integration designs, architecture decisions, and APIs.

- Define monitoring and performance benchmarks for integration platforms.

Technical Leadership :

- Mentor and guide integration developers and engineers.

- Conduct architecture reviews and recommend improvements.

- Lead PoCs (Proof of Concepts) for new integration technologies and frameworks.

Key Qualifications :

Education :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- TOGAF or similar Enterprise Architecture certification is a plus.

Experience :

- 15+ years of IT experience with at least 810 years in integration architecture.

- Proven expertise in designing and delivering enterprise-scale integration solutions.

- Strong background in SAP integration (SAP PI/PO, CPI) and Microsoft Azure integration stack.

Technical Skills :

- Integration Platforms : SAP PI/PO, SAP CPI, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Service Bus, Azure Event Grid.

- API Management : Azure API Management (APIM), REST, SOAP, GraphQL.

- Architecture & Cloud : Enterprise integration patterns, hybrid cloud integrations, microservices architecture.

- Security & Governance : OAuth2, OpenID Connect, API security, compliance frameworks.

- Tools & Standards : JSON, XML, XSLT, EDI, Swagger/OpenAPI.

- Other Competencies : Strong knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring tools (App Insights, Splunk, etc
