Position Title : Application Architect

Required Experience : 8-14 years

Job Location : Indore or Hyderabad

Work Timings/Shift : 3PM to 12 AM

WFH/ Hybrid/WFO : Hybrid (Work from office 3 to 4 days a week)

Job Description (Job Summary/Roles & Responsibilities) :

- The Application Architect will play a key role in guiding development teams through architecture design, technical troubleshooting, and solution implementation.


- This role involves close collaboration with Scrum teams to support sprint planning, backlog prioritization, and technical discussions.


- The ideal candidate will also lead research initiatives and proof-of-concept projects to identify system upgrade opportunities and explore innovative technologies.

- Collaborate with development teams to design scalable and maintainable application architectures.

- Participate in sprint planning and backlog grooming to align technical solutions with business goals.

- Provide hands-on support in troubleshooting complex technical issues.

- Conduct research and lead proof-of-concept efforts to evaluate emerging technologies and modernization strategies.

- Promote architectural best practices and ensure alignment with enterprise standards.

Requirements :

- 8+ years of hands-on experience as an Application Architect or Solution Architect.

- Expert level proficiency in C# and the .NET ecosystem, with some proficiency in JavaScript-based UI frameworks (Angular preferred) and SQL Server.

- Hands-on experience in Azure cloud resource selection, provisioning, and configuration/management, including:

- Azure App Services/ Function Apps

- Azure API Management

- Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, and Blob Storage

- Azure Service Bus and Event Grid

- Strong understanding of cloud design patterns and software architecture principles, including:

- Microservices architecture

- Event-driven/serverless architectures

- RESTful/HTTP API design and integration

- Design patterns and best practices

- Familiarity with Azure DevOps for CI/CD, pipeline management, and release automation with knowledge of:

- Azure DevOps pipelines

- Infrastructure as Code

- Git and version control strategies

- Experience implementing security controls, including:

- Role-based access controls

- Secure coding practices

- Identity and access management (Azure AD, OAuth2, OpenID Connect)

- Experience with AI-enabled application development, and use of generative AI tools for coding assistance (GitHub Copilot).

- Ability to review software solutions for architectural soundness, adherence to design patterns, code quality, and security considerations.

- Excellent ability to explain complex architectural concepts through diagrams, written documentation, and verbal discussions.

Education & Certifications :

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
