Key Responsibilities :

- Architect end-to-end cloud migration strategies for enterprise applications to AWS, ensuring alignment with client business objectives and technical requirements.

- Lead technical discovery and assessment phases to identify migration candidates, define migration patterns (rehost, replatform, refactor), and estimate effort for successful project planning.

- Design secure, scalable, and cost-optimized AWS cloud architectures utilizing services like EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, EKS, and VPC for migrated applications, ensuring high performance and reliability.

- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to migration teams, ensuring best practices in cloud architecture, security, and operational excellence are followed throughout the project lifecycle.

- Collaborate with client IT teams and internal project managers to define migration roadmaps, manage risks, and ensure successful project delivery and post-migration optimization.

- Develop and document architectural standards, best practices, and reference architectures for AWS cloud migrations to foster consistency and quality across engagements.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated experience of 5-8 years in designing and implementing complex application architectures, with a significant focus on AWS cloud migration projects.

- Deep expertise in AWS services, including compute (EC2, Lambda, EKS), storage (S3, EBS, EFS), databases (RDS, DynamoDB), networking (VPC, Route 53), and security (IAM, Security Groups).

- Proficiency in defining migration strategies (e.g., 6 Rs) and hands-on experience with migration tools and methodologies.

- Strong understanding of enterprise application patterns, microservices architecture, and serverless computing principles.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Ability to lead technical discussions, influence architectural decisions, and mentor junior architects and engineers effectively.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

- Adaptability to work in a dynamic, client-facing consulting environment based in Bangalore.
