Appian Functional Consultant

Key Responsibilities :

- Engage with business stakeholders to analyze and document functional requirements.

- Lead architecture and development of complex Appian-based systems ensuring scalability and performance.

- Coach and mentor Appian developers and ensure adherence to best practices.

- Conduct code reviews, unit testing, debugging, and enforce Appian standards.

- Integrate Appian applications with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and Connected Systems.

- Drive DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and platform upgrades for smooth deployment.

- Collaborate in Agile/Scrum environments including sprint planning and retrospectives.

Required Qualifications :

- Deep expertise in Appian modules : SAIL, Process Models, Interfaces, Records, Sites, and Reports.

- Familiarity with AI Skills, RPA, Data Fabric, and plug-ins.

- Strong knowledge of REST/SOAP integration, JWT, SSO/SAML, and LDAP.

- Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Proven leadership, communication, and agile delivery skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Appian Level 2 or Level 3 Lead Developer/Architect Certification.

- Domain knowledge in Financial Services or Capital Markets.

- Hands-on experience with Appian RPA, AI Skills, and Data Fabric.

- Familiarity with DevOps tools (Jenkins, Git, ANT) and automated deployment.

Education :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
