Job Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled API Developer (GoLang) to join our team and support integration-focused development for a US-based client. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in building scalable APIs, microservices, and EDI-based integrations using GoLang on cloud-native environments. This role involves working with modern tools, containerization, event-driven architecture, and secure API frameworks.

Key Responsibilities :

API & Integration Development :

- Design, develop, and maintain integrations with external APIs, EDI systems, and partner platforms.

- Implement scalable and high-performing microservices using GoLang.

- Build and maintain RESTful and SOAP-based services.

Cloud & Containerization :

- Deploy and manage services using Docker and Kubernetes.

- Build cloud-native applications using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services such as Pub/Sub, Cloud Run, and GKE.

Data Mapping & EDI :

- Work with EDI standards including X12, EDIFACT, XML, and map data between systems accurately.

- Collaborate with internal and external teams on integration requirements and data transformation.

Security & Performance :

- Implement secure authentication and authorization using OAuth2, JWT, and SFTP-based data exchange.

- Optimize systems for speed, reliability, scalability, and resilience.

Collaboration & Process Excellence :

- Contribute to test-driven development (TDD) and follow agile delivery practices.

- Troubleshoot issues across the integration landscape and ensure high service availability.

- Maintain technical documentation, API specs, and integration guidelines.

Key Skills & Technologies :

- GoLang (3+ years hands-on experience)

- RESTful & SOAP API development

- EDI Standards : X12, EDIFACT, XML

- Docker, Kubernetes

- Google Cloud Platform (Pub/Sub, Cloud Run, GKE)

- Redis, OAuth2, JWT, SFTP

- Strong debugging, performance tuning, and analytical skills
