Job Title : Engineering Architect

Location : Chennai (India)

Years of Experience : 12 -15 Years

Employment Type : Full time

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and evolve the system architecture for our SaaS-based education platform with scalability, maintainability, and performance in mind.

- Lead architectural reviews, technical design discussions, and make decisions on core technology stacks.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, DevOps, QA, and data science to deliver end-to-end features.

- Evaluate and integrate new technologies, tools, and frameworks aligned with our strategic objectives.

- Implement microservices and serverless architecture (where applicable) using AWS services like Lambda, ECS, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, etc.

- Define coding standards, architectural patterns, and governance for PHP (Laravel) and Python components.

- Conduct performance benchmarking, identify bottlenecks, and optimize backend systems.

- Mentor software engineers and promote engineering excellence through documentation and code reviews.

- Ensure system security, compliance, and scalability in a multi-tenant SaaS environment.

Key Requirements :

- 12+ years of experience in backend development and architecture.

- Strong experience in PHP frameworks and Python (Flask/FastAPI/Django).

- Deep understanding of AWS Cloud Architecture, including EC2, RDS, Lambda, S3, IAM, API Gateway, CloudFormation, etc.

- Hands-on experience with RESTful API design, microservices, and messaging queues (like SQS or RabbitMQ).

- Experience with CI/CD, containerization using Docker, and orchestration with ECS or Kubernetes.

- Sound knowledge of RDBMS (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases.

- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.

- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
