Job description:

We are looking for an Android developer responsible for the development and maintenance of applications. Your primary focus will be the development of Android applications and their integration with back-end services. Commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and creating quality products is essential.

Skills :

- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in Android App Development (Java + Kotlin)

- Experience with Android SDK tools/Android Studio, third party libraries and APIs

- Proficient in Object Oriented Programming, data structures and algorithms

- Experience covering all aspects of Android App dev and publishing on Play Store

- Experience in Java programming, RESTful API, JSON

- Excellent UI/UX design and development skills : Material Design/Materialize/MUI, MVC/MVVM design pattern

- Experience in cross platform application development using various frameworks will be a plus (e.g. Flutter, ReactNative, Xamarin, Phonegap, Cordova, Ionic, etc)

- Familiar with Kotlin programming

- Experience with social media integration

- Good experience with payment options integration

- Knowledge of advanced UI/UX concepts of Android

- Familiar with version control repositories - Git, GitHub, Gitlab, Bitbucket

- Clear understanding of concept of multi-threading, memory management, network management specific to mobile devices

- Strong problem solving, design thinking, debugging and analytical skills

- Ability to write clean code, should be able to convert design into code fluently.

- Should always adhere to coding best practices

- Exposure of emerging technologies, architecture patterns, trends in mobile app development

Responsibilities :

- Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code

- Design, build and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable Java code

- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application

- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs

- Help and maintain code quality.
