Android Developer - Java/Kotlin

Description :

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain Android applications with a focus on location-based services.

- Implement features such as real-time tracking, navigation, geofencing, and map-based UI components.

- Integrate and optimize Google Maps SDK, location APIs, and third-party services.

- Develop applications using modern Android architecture (MVVM, Clean Architecture).

- Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code using Kotlin/Java.

- Collaborate with backend, product, and UX teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

- Perform unit testing, debugging, and performance optimization.

- Ensure application security, reliability, and smooth user experience.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 3+ years of experience in Android application development.

- Strong experience with location-based apps and Google Maps SDK.

- Hands-on expertise in real-time tracking and navigation features.

- Strong knowledge of modern Android architecture components (MVVM, LiveData, ViewModel, Jetpack).

- Proficiency in Kotlin (preferred) or Java.

- Experience working with REST APIs and JSON.

- Strong understanding of Android SDK, UI components, and lifecycle management.

- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills :

- Experience with background services and push notifications.

- Familiarity with map performance optimization and battery-efficient location tracking.

- Experience with CI/CD for mobile apps
