Anaplan Model Builder

Responsibilities :

- Design, build, and maintain Anaplan models to support various business planning and forecasting processes, including financial planning, sales forecasting, and operational planning.

- Apply multi-dimensional modeling concepts and best practices to create efficient, scalable, and maintainable Anaplan models.

- Develop and implement Anaplan modules, line items, lists, and actions to meet business requirements.

- Perform regular model reviews and optimizations to ensure performance and accuracy.

- Collaborate with stakeholders, including finance, sales, and operations teams, to gather and document business requirements.

- Translate business requirements into clear and actionable technical specifications for Anaplan model development.

- Participate in workshops and meetings to gather feedback and refine model designs.

- Design and implement data integrations between Anaplan and other enterprise systems.

- Manage data imports and exports, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.

- Troubleshoot data integration issues and implement solutions.

- Develop and implement forecasting methodologies and algorithms within Anaplan models.

- Create and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize data and provide insights to stakeholders.

- Perform ad-hoc analysis and provide recommendations based on model outputs.

- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for Anaplan models, including design specifications, user guides, and training materials.

- Provide training and support to end-users on Anaplan model usage.

- Share best practices and knowledge with team members.

- Utilize strong Excel skills to build and maintain Excel-based models as needed.

- Transition Excel-based models to Anaplan solutions where appropriate.

Required Skills :

- 3-4 years of hands-on experience in Anaplan model building and administration.

- Proficiency in Anaplan Connect, Anaplan API, and other integration tools.

- Strong understanding of Anaplan best practices and methodologies.

- Experience with Anaplan modules, line items, lists, and actions.

- Experience in developing and implementing forecasting methodologies and algorithms.

- Understanding of statistical forecasting techniques.

- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including formula creation, data manipulation, and charting.

- Experience in building and maintaining complex Excel models.

- Experience with data integration concepts and tools.

- Ability to design and implement data integrations between Anaplan and other systems.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
