Job Title : Analytics Engineer Microsoft Fabric

About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced Analytics Engineer to design and build robust transformation layers on Microsoft Fabric for enterprise-scale data platforms. The role focuses on owning the medallion architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold) within Fabric Lakehouse, implementing data governance and quality using Microsoft Purview, and delivering analytics-ready, trusted datasets to support business intelligence and advanced analytics use cases.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and manage medallion architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold) using Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse

- Build and maintain data transformation layers using Fabric SQL endpoints, Spark Notebooks, and dbt

- Develop scalable and performant Delta Lake tables with MERGE, incremental loads, and SCD patterns

- Implement data quality, lineage, and governance frameworks using Microsoft Purview

- Apply data classification, sensitivity labels, and governance policies across datasets

- Collaborate with data engineers, BI developers, and business stakeholders to deliver analytics-ready datasets

- Enable CI/CD pipelines with Git integration for version control and automated deployments

- Produce clear technical documentation and actively participate in client discussions and solution walkthroughs

Technical Skills Required :

- Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse & SQL Endpoints for data transformations

- dbt (dbt-fabric adapter) for transformation workflows

- Spark Notebooks for complex transformations in Fabric

- Microsoft Purview : data lineage, glossary, and data quality rules

- Medallion architecture design (Bronze, Silver, Gold patterns)

- Delta Lake tables with MERGE, incremental processing, and SCD implementations

- Data classification and sensitivity labels using Purview

- Git-based version control and CI/CD deployment pipelines

Experience & Qualifications :

- 3+ years of experience in analytics engineering or data engineering roles

- At least 1 year of hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric or Azure Synapse

- Delivered 2+ enterprise-grade medallion architecture or governed data platform implementations

- Strong communication skills for client interactions, requirement gathering, and technical documentation
