We are seeking an experienced Senior JIRA Consultant with deep expertise in ScriptRunner, EazyBI, and JIRA administration to support enterprise-wide Agile transformation and toolchain optimization. This role will be responsible for customizing workflows, automating processes, and building advanced dashboards and reports that provide visibility into delivery performance and business metrics.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, configure, and maintain complex JIRA workflows, schemes, custom fields, and permission schemes tailored to organizational needs.

- Develop and deploy custom scripts using ScriptRunner to automate tasks, enforce business rules, and extend JIRA functionality.

- Create and maintain advanced dashboards and reports using EazyBI, including custom measures, calculated members, and multi-dimensional data analysis.

- Integrate JIRA with external tools such as Confluence, Bitbucket, Jenkins, GitHub, Slack, etc.

- Manage JIRA projects and work with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable configurations.

- Optimize and standardize Agile processes across teams by customizing boards, issue types, and workflows for Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe methodologies.

- Ensure proper user management, permissions, and project roles in compliance with enterprise policies.

- Provide technical leadership and guidance on JIRA best practices, scalability, and governance.

- Conduct periodic audits of configuration and data usage and suggest improvements for performance and maintainability.

- Troubleshoot JIRA-related issues and provide Tier 2/3 support to users and admins.

- Prepare training material and conduct knowledge-sharing sessions for end users and internal teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 712 years of experience in JIRA administration, configuration, and customization.

- Strong hands-on expertise with ScriptRunner for JIRA including Groovy scripting, workflow post functions, validators, listeners, and behaviors.

- Deep experience with EazyBI for building advanced analytical dashboards, custom calculations, and interactive visualizations.

- Proficient in JIRA Query Language (JQL) and using filters for reporting and dashboard creation.

- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and experience tailoring JIRA projects accordingly.

- Experience with JIRA REST APIs and integration with external systems.

- Familiarity with Confluence and its integration with JIRA.

- Good understanding of DevOps toolchains, including Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.

- Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to interact with business and technical stakeholders.

- Experience with Atlassian Cloud Migrations or Data Center-to-Cloud transitions.

- Exposure to Jira Align, Advanced Roadmaps, or other Agile planning tools.

- Experience with automation tools like Automation for JIRA or external orchestration platforms.

- Atlassian certifications such as ACP-JA, ACP-600, or ACP-120.
