AmpsTek - Python Developer - Flask/Django/FastAPI

Position : Python Developer Javascript and Cloud Environment experience.

Location : India Onsite.

Mandatory skills : Javascript. GCP (or any other cloud exposure). Experience from 4 to 10 years.

We are looking for a highly skilled Python Developer with strong experience in JavaScript and Cloud platforms (preferably Google Cloud Platform GCP). The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of backend development, API integration, and cloud-native application deployment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain scalable backend applications using Python (Flask/Django/FastAPI).

- Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate with frontend systems.

- Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements using JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, or Vanilla JS).

- Deploy, manage, and scale applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or any other cloud environments (AWS, Azure).

- Write efficient, clean, and reusable code with best coding practices.

- Work with CI/CD tools and containerization platforms like Docker, Kubernetes, and Cloud Build.

- Optimize application performance, conduct code reviews, and provide technical guidance.

- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using GCP services or equivalent.

- Ensure security, performance, and scalability of cloud-based services.

- Work in Agile/Scrum teams and participate in sprint planning and retrospectives.

Must-Have Skills :

- 4+ years of experience in Python backend development.

- Strong expertise in JavaScript (ES6+) and frontend integration.

- Hands-on experience with GCP (App Engine, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, IAM) or similar cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).

- Experience with REST APIs, Microservices, and serverless architecture.

- Good understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Firestore).

- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

- Exposure to version control systems like Git and tools like GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket.

Good-to-Have :

- Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

- Familiarity with unit testing frameworks (pytest, unittest).

- Experience in data processing pipelines, ETL workflows, or streaming services.

- Knowledge of DevOps and cloud security best practices.

- GCP Certification is a plus.

- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

- Self-driven, with the ability to work independently and in a team.
