Role Summary :

You will be the technical lead for complex REST API integrations and advanced scripting requirements, ensuring that the platform scales effectively across diverse business unitswhether in ITSM, SecOps, or HRSD. A strong focus on modern UI frameworks and automated flow orchestration is essential to deliver a seamless, enterprise-grade user experience.

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain bespoke applications using the ServiceNow App Engine, Studio, and the latest UI Builder components.

- Architect and implement complex REST/SOAP API integrations via Integration Hub, ensuring secure and performant data exchange between ServiceNow and external enterprise systems.

- Build highly responsive and intuitive web interfaces using AngularJS and React within the Service Portal and Workspace environments.

- Configure and optimize advanced automation workflows using Flow Designer, focusing on sub-flows, custom spokes, and complex trigger logic.

- Implement sophisticated data transformation logic using Transform Maps and Robust Transform Engines to maintain high data quality during migrations.

- Develop advanced server-side and client-side scripts (Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, and UI Actions) to handle intricate business logic.

- Manage secure file and attachment transfers using Restricted APIs and scripted attachment handlers to maintain strict data confidentiality.

- Lead the development of Seismic-based Workspaces and customized UI Pages to enhance agent productivity and end-user engagement.

- Provide technical leadership in "Platform Development" by enforcing best practices in code quality, update set management, and automated test framework (ATF) usage.

- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to translate complex business processes into technical blueprints and functional prototypes.

Technical Requirements :

- 5+ years of dedicated experience in ServiceNow application development with a proven track record in at least one core module (ITSM, ITOM, SecOps, CSM, SPM, HRSD, or GRC).

- Deep technical expertise in Integration Hub and building custom RESTful integrations, including experience with OAuth 2.0 and mutual authentication.

- Advanced proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and modern frontend frameworks like AngularJS or React for Service Portal development.

- Mastery of UI Builder and Workspaces for creating modern, streamlined agent and manager experiences.

- Strong hands-on experience with Flow Designer, including the creation of custom actions and error-handling logic.

- Expertise in Transformer Maps and data integration techniques for high-volume ETL operations within the platform.

- In-depth knowledge of ServiceNows security model, including ACLs, Data Filtration, and Encryption.

- Experience in handling Restricted APIs and secure attachment management protocols.

Preferred Skills :

- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in a core module.

- Familiarity with the ServiceNow Common Service Data Model (CSDM 4.0) and CMDB architecture.

- Experience with ServiceNow DevOps and integration with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps or GitHub).

- Knowledge of Performance Analytics and the ability to build advanced reporting dashboards.

- Prior experience in a global delivery model or consulting environment (A3 level equivalent).

- Understanding of Mobile App Development within the ServiceNow mobile framework.

- Strong troubleshooting skills for debugging complex server-side scripts and performance bottlenecks.
