Aligned Automation - Automation QA Engineer - Playwright Testing

Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Automation QA Engineer with strong expertise in JavaScript, Java, or Python and hands-on experience in modern automation tools such as Selenium or Playwright. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks, contribute to quality strategy, and leverage AI-based testing tools to enhance automation efficiency and coverage.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for web and API applications.

- Build and maintain reusable test automation frameworks and libraries.

- Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to identify test requirements and automation opportunities.

- Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and continuous integration processes.

- Analyze test results, identify defects, and ensure timely resolution.

- Integrate automation tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing and reporting.

- Research and implement AI-driven testing tools to optimize test coverage and performance.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 5+ years of experience in automation testing using Java, JavaScript, or Python.

- Hands-on experience with Selenium, Playwright, or similar tools.

- Proficient in Cucumber / BDD frameworks.

- Strong understanding of TestNG, XPath, and DOM structures.

- Experience with API automation (e.g., REST Assured, Postman, etc.).

- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, and Git.

- Exposure to AI-based testing tools (e.g., Mabl, Testim.io, etc.).

- Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have :

- Domain experience in Pharma, Medical, or GxP/GMP systems testing.

- Working knowledge of performance testing or security testing tools.

- Awareness of cloud-based testing environments (e.g., AWS, Azure DevOps).

Soft Skills :

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.

- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, agile environment.
