We are seeking an experienced Senior Kubernetes Administrator to design, manage, and scale high-availability container infrastructure across multi-cloud environments. In this role, you will be responsible for orchestrating container workloads, maintaining Infrastructure as Code (IaC) via Terraform, and managing advanced network architectures including ECMP routing. You will collaborate closely with DevOps and engineering teams to ensure fault tolerance, security, and peak operational performance.
Key Responsibilities :
- Architect, deploy, configure, and maintain production-grade enterprise Kubernetes clusters across multi-cloud environments (AWS EKS, Azure AKS, GCP GKE, and hybrid setups).
- Implement automated cluster upgrades, node pool management, auto-scaling (HPA/VPA), and disaster recovery plans.
- Optimize pod scheduling, resource allocation, storage classes (CSI), and cluster ingress services.
- Monitor control plane health, etcd management, and overall cluster performance.
- Standardize, provision, and maintain all cloud infrastructure using Terraform.
- Manage public cloud services across AWS, Azure, or GCP with a focus on security, high availability, and cost optimization.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated infrastructure deployments and configuration management.
- Enforce cloud security posture management (CSPM) and zero-trust security controls.
- Design, implement, and troubleshoot robust network architectures using Equal-Cost Multi-Path (ECMP) routing for high-bandwidth dynamic load balancing.
- Configure CNI plugins (e.g., Cilium, Calico) and network security policies across multi-region clusters.
- Manage BGP peering, Ingress Controllers, Service Meshes (Istio/Linkerd), VPNs, and cloud interconnects.
Requirements :
- Container Orchestration : Deep expertise in container orchestration across multi-cloud environments (AWS EKS, Azure AKS, GCP GKE, or On-Prem). Strong familiarity with Docker/containerd.
- Infrastructure & Cloud : Proven hands-on experience using Terraform (IaC) for infrastructure management. Expertise in cloud design across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Networking Architecture : Hands-on experience with ECMP routing, BGP, CNI plugins (Cilium/Calico), DNS, and dynamic routing architectures.
- Certifications (Preferred) : CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator), CKS (Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist), or AWS/Azure/GCP Solutions Architect certifications.
- Experience Level : 5+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or Systems Administration with a minimum of 3 years dedicated to production Kubernetes.
