About the Role :

Cortex is seeking a highly experienced and hands-on Lead AIS Developer to join our remote team. This is a critical role for an individual with over 10 years of experience in integration projects, particularly with Azure Integration Services (AIS). The ideal candidate will be a technical leader capable of actively engaging with clients, understanding their requirements, and delivering robust, scalable integration solutions.

This position is heavily focused on complex integrations, requiring deep expertise in connecting diverse systems, including on-premise solutions and SaaS platforms. You will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying integration flows using Azure Function Apps, Logic Apps, and Service Bus, with a strong emphasis on Node.js and C# development.

Responsibilities :

- Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex integration solutions using Azure Integration Services (AIS) including Function Apps, Logic Apps, and Service Bus.

- Actively engage with clients to gather and analyze technical requirements, providing expert guidance and recommendations for optimal integration strategies.

- Develop high-quality, efficient, and maintainable code primarily in Node.js for Azure Function Apps and Logic Apps.

- Utilize C# for various development tasks as required within the integration landscape.

- Integrate with various on-premise systems and SaaS platforms using APIs, Web Services, and other relevant integration patterns.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, business analysts, and other developers, to ensure seamless project delivery.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues, ensuring high availability and performance of integrated systems.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure integration technologies and best practices, proactively recommending improvements and innovations.

- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers within the team.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 10+ years of experience in software development with a strong focus on enterprise integration projects.

- Extensive hands-on experience with Azure Integration Services (AIS), specifically:

- Azure Function Apps (with strong Node.js coding experience).

- Azure Logic Apps.

- Azure Service Bus.

- Proven expertise in integrating with diverse systems, including on-premise applications and SaaS platforms.

- Demonstrated experience with various integration patterns, including APIs (REST, SOAP) and Web Services.

- Strong coding proficiency in Node.js is essential.

- Solid development experience with C#.

- Ability to actively engage with clients, understand business needs, and translate them into technical solutions.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong analytical mindset.

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
