Role Summary :

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Cloud Operations Lead to manage and evolve our multi-cloud environment across AWS and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

The role is responsible for ensuring cloud availability, security, regulatory compliance, operational excellence, cost optimization, disaster recovery readiness, and automation of cloud operations in a highly regulated banking environment.

The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in AWS, OCI, Cloud Security, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), SRE practices, and financial services compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities - Cloud Operations Lead (AWS & OCI) :

- Lead end-to-end operations of AWS and OCI cloud environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability.

- Manage cloud infrastructure provisioning, administration, monitoring, and lifecycle management.

- Drive cloud governance, compliance, and regulatory adherence in line with banking and security requirements.

- Own cloud security posture, IAM governance, vulnerability management, and audit readiness.

- Implement and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform/CloudFormation) and cloud automation practices.

- Support and enhance CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and cloud-native platform operations.

- Lead incident, problem, and change management activities, including major incident resolution and RCA.

- Manage cloud backup, disaster recovery planning, DR drills, and business continuity readiness.

- Drive cloud cost optimisation (FinOps), capacity planning, and resource utilisation efficiency.

- Collaborate with Application, Infrastructure, Security, Architecture, and DevOps teams to support business initiatives.

- Manage cloud vendors, support contracts, escalations, and service improvement initiatives.

- Lead and mentor the Cloud Operations team while defining KPIs, SLAs, and operational excellence standards.

Skills :

- AWS Cloud (EC2, EKS, VPC, RDS, S3, IAM, CloudWatch) and OCI Administration.

- Cloud Security, Governance & Compliance.

- Terraform, CloudFormation & Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

- CI/CD, DevOps, Automation and Kubernetes.

- Monitoring, Incident Management, DR and Backup Operations.

- FinOps, Cost Optimisation and Capacity Planning.

- Team Leadership and Vendor Management.

Experience :

- 10+ years of overall IT Infrastructure / Cloud Operations experience.

- 5+ years of hands-on AWS Operations experience.

- 2+ years of OCI Cloud management experience.

- Experience in Banking, FinTech or regulated environments preferred.

- Experience managing production-critical cloud environments and cloud transformation initiatives.

Qualifications :

- B.E./B.Tech/MCA or equivalent qualification.

- Mandatory : AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional).

- Preferred: AWS Security Specialty Certification.

- Preferred: OCI Architect Certification.

- Preferred: Kubernetes (CKA) / ITIL Certifications.
