Job Description :

We are seeking a seasoned MicroStrategy Engineer with over 4 years of experience in data and reporting technologies to join our team in Pune. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in MicroStrategy and related reporting tools, with the ability to manage end-to-end reporting projects and optimize performance.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, maintain, and optimize MicroStrategy reports, dashboards, and data cubes.

- Lead requirement gathering sessions and manage the delivery of end-to-end reporting solutions.

- Enhance report performance through tuning and best practices.

- Implement MicroStrategy solutions on cloud platforms, preferably Azure.

- Build and deploy data pipelines leveraging cloud-native technologies.

- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights.

- Administer MicroStrategy environments and ensure system stability (administration skills are a plus).

- Utilize Linux, Oracle, Hive, and Impala technologies in daily tasks.

- Work with Postgres databases (desirable but not mandatory).

- Apply banking domain knowledge to enhance reporting relevance and accuracy (advantageous but not mandatory).

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- Minimum 4 years of experience in MicroStrategy and reporting technologies.

- Strong hands-on experience with MicroStrategy development including reports, dashboards, and cubes.

- Experience with MicroStrategy implementation on cloud platforms such as Azure.

- Familiarity with Linux operating systems and SQL-based databases such as Oracle, Hive, and Impala.

- Exposure to cloud-native data pipeline development and deployment.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to optimize reporting performance.

- Good communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with Postgres databases.

- Knowledge of MicroStrategy administration and environment management.

- Experience in the banking domain.
