Role : AI Platform Engineer

Role Overview :

As an AI Platform Engineer based in Bangalore, you will serve as the technical backbone for our generative AI initiatives, bridging the gap between cutting-edge machine learning research and scalable production infrastructure. You will work closely with data scientists, ML engineers, and product stakeholders to architect, deploy, and maintain robust AI platforms that power our next-generation applications. By streamlining the lifecycle of Large Language Models (LLMs) and automating cloud workflows, you will directly influence the speed at which we deliver intelligent features to our customers, ensuring our systems remain secure, performant, and highly available in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect and manage scalable AI infrastructure on AWS, leveraging services like Bedrock and Sagemaker to accelerate the deployment of LLMs and machine learning models.

- Automate the provisioning of cloud resources using Terraform and CloudFormation to ensure consistent, reproducible, and compliant environment setups across the organization.

- Implement and enforce granular IAM policies and security best practices to protect sensitive data and maintain a secure posture for all AI-driven workloads.

- Design and maintain sophisticated CI/CD pipelines that enable seamless integration and continuous delivery of ML models, reducing time-to-market for new features.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and optimize resource utilization, ensuring cost-efficiency and high reliability for end-users.

- Champion DevOps best practices within the AI engineering team, fostering a culture of automation, observability, and operational excellence.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in designing and managing cloud-native AI platforms on AWS, with a deep understanding of Sagemaker and Bedrock for production-grade model serving.

- Proven ability to write clean, efficient Python code for automation scripts and infrastructure-as-code tasks, alongside a strong command of Terraform and CloudFormation for environment management.

- Advanced knowledge of AWS security frameworks and IAM, with the ability to design secure multi-tenant architectures that meet strict enterprise compliance standards.

- Strong proficiency in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, ensuring that ML workflows are integrated into broader software development lifecycles.

- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical requirements into actionable infrastructure plans for diverse stakeholders.

- A collaborative mindset suited for a hybrid work environment in Bangalore, demonstrating the ability to mentor junior engineers and drive technical consensus across teams.

- A minimum of 7 to 10 years of professional experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or MLOps, with a track record of delivering high-impact technical solutions.
