About the Client :

Our client is a business development and relationship-driven consulting firm that connects startups, growth companies, and investors with the right partners and opportunities.

They are building a next-generation CRM that leverages AI, automation, and intelligent matchmaking to enhance introductions and relationship management.

Project Overview :

We are developing a custom CRM system that will :

- Create rich contact/company profiles by aggregating data from LinkedIn, Gmail, Google Calendar, news sources, and other integrations.

- Use AI-driven entity extraction and matchmaking to identify opportunities between clients and contacts.

- Generate personalized introduction emails in the clients voice using LLMs.

- Automate reporting, reminders, and call prep briefs.

- Ensure strong privacy and data security controls (with explicit user consent).

Role & Responsibilities :

We are seeking a hands-on AI CRM Engineer who can design, build, and integrate the system end-to-end.

Responsibilities include :

- Architect and implement CRM integrations (LinkedIn API, Gmail API, Google Calendar API, Google News API, Clay.com, Airtable/HubSpot/Salesforce).

- Build profile enrichment pipelines that automatically create/update contact and company profiles.

- Implement AI-powered matchmaking between contacts and clients using keyword/entity extraction and LLMs (OpenAI/Gemini).

- Develop an introduction generator that drafts personalized emails in the clients tone using past communications.

- Automate workflows with Zapier, Make.com, or n8n (e.g., profile enrichment ? matchmaking ? intro email drafting).

- Implement call prep briefs and automated client engagement reports.

- Ensure data privacy and security, with user-controlled integrations and explicit consent workflows.

- Deliver a clean, user-friendly interface for managing and editing profiles (likely Airtable/HubSpot/Salesforce frontend).

Required Skills :

- 5+ years of experience in CRM customization, integrations, and automation.

- Strong knowledge of APIs : LinkedIn, Gmail, Google Calendar, Google News.

- Hands-on with workflow automation tools (Zapier, Make.com, n8n).

- Experience with LLMs (OpenAI, Gemini) for text generation, entity extraction, and personalization.

- Familiarity with CRM platforms (Airtable, HubSpot, Salesforce) and building extensible contact/account databases.

- Proficient in Python or Node.js for integrations and backend development.

- Strong understanding of data privacy, OAuth2, and secure integration practices.

- (Bonus) Experience in relationship-driven industries (venture capital, consulting, business development).

Engagement :

- Freelance / contract role.

- Outcome-based, with milestones tied to deliverables (integration, enrichment, matchmaking, automation, reporting).
