- About the Role

We are seeking an experienced AI & SOI Architect to design, develop, and implement scalable AI-driven solutions and enterprise integration architectures. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Generative AI, APIs, microservices, and Service-Oriented Integration (SOI). You will work closely with business stakeholders, product teams, and engineering teams to build intelligent, secure, and scalable solutions that align with organisational goals.

- Key Responsibilities

- Define and drive the AI and SOI architecture strategy aligned with business objectives.

- Design scalable AI/ML and Generative AI solutions for enterprise applications.

- Architect service-oriented and event-driven integration solutions using APIs, microservices, and messaging platforms.

- Collaborate with business, product, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical architecture.

- Evaluate emerging AI technologies, frameworks, and integration platforms to recommend innovative solutions.

- Develop architecture blueprints, technical standards, design patterns, and governance frameworks.

- Ensure AI solutions comply with security, privacy, regulatory, and ethical AI standards.

- Design integration patterns using REST APIs, GraphQL, event streaming, and enterprise messaging technologies.

- Provide technical leadership during solution design, development, deployment, and production support.

- Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical assessments to ensure quality and scalability.

- Optimise AI model deployment, inference performance, and integration workflows.

- Mentor development teams on AI engineering, integration best practices, and architectural standards.

- Required Skills & Qualifications

- 6+ years of overall IT experience with strong experience in solution architecture, AI, or enterprise integration.

- Hands-on experience designing AI/ML or Generative AI solutions using frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, LangChain, or similar.

- Experience integrating Large Language Models (LLMs) using platforms such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, or open-source models.

- Strong understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), prompt engineering, vector databases, embeddings, and AI orchestration.

- Expertise in REST APIs, GraphQL, microservices architecture, and service-oriented integration.

- Experience with API management platforms such as Apigee, MuleSoft, Kong, or Azure API Management.

- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.

- Experience with containerisation and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.

- Understanding of messaging technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Azure Service Bus.

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and Infrastructure as Code.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

- Preferred Qualifications

- Experience designing enterprise AI platforms and intelligent automation solutions.

- Knowledge of MLOps, model lifecycle management, monitoring, and governance.

- Experience with vector databases such as Pinecone, Milvus, Weaviate, or Azure AI Search.

- Exposure to Agentic AI, AI workflow orchestration, and multi-agent systems.

- Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF.

- AI, Cloud, or Solution Architecture certifications are highly desirable.
