About the Role :

We are seeking a skilled PHP Developer to join our technology team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in PHP development, a solid understanding of modern frameworks, database management, and web technologies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable, secure, and high-performing applications.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, test, and maintain web applications using Core PHP and PHP frameworks.

- Build and optimize backend logic, APIs, and database structures.

- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following OOP and MVC architecture.

- Integrate internal and third-party APIs and resolve technical issues.

- Optimize database queries and improve overall application performance.

- Collaborate with the front-end team to integrate UI/UX components with backend logic.

- Manage code versions using Git and follow collaborative development practices.

- Implement and uphold security best practices (SQL injection, XSS, CSRF protection, etc.).

- Perform debugging, testing, and deployment of new features.

- Participate in code reviews and suggest improvements to development workflows.

- Work closely with the DevOps/Cloud team for deployments (AWS/Azure, if applicable).

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Core Technical Skills :

- Strong knowledge of PHP 7/8 and Core PHP

- Experience with at least one framework : Laravel / Yii2 / CodeIgniter / Symfony / Zend

- Strong expertise in MySQL/SQL, database design, and query optimization

- Solid understanding of OOP concepts and MVC architecture

- Experience with RESTful API development & integration

- Familiarity with version control tools (Git, GitHub, Bitbucket)

- Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap

- (Optional but preferred) Experience with modern JS frameworks : React / Vue / Angular

- Experience using debugging tools and performance monitoring

- Understanding of caching mechanisms : Redis, Memcached, OPcache

- Knowledge of unit testing tools like PHPUnit

- Awareness of security best practices in web applications

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) is an added advantage

Education :
