AEM Vue.js Developer

Cortex Consulting is seeking an experienced and highly skilled AEM Vue.js Developer to join our remote team. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with 6-8 years of dedicated experience in developing robust Adobe AEM CMS web applications. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of front-end and back-end expertise, with a particular focus on Vue.js for UI development and comprehensive knowledge of Adobe Experience Manager.

This is a fully remote position.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and implement enterprise-level web applications using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and related technologies.

- Lead and contribute to the front-end development using Vue.js, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and an exceptional user experience.

- Integrate AEM with e-commerce platforms, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality.

- Develop and maintain AEM components using JSP, jQuery, JavaScript, and CSS, adhering to best practices and coding standards.

- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, deployment, and support.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and other developers, to deliver high-quality solutions.

- Configure, deploy, and manage AEM instances, including dispatcher programming and optimization.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to AEM, Java/J2EE, and front-end technologies.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, particularly in AEM, Vue.js, and related web development frameworks.

- Mentor junior developers and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 6-8 years of professional development experience writing Adobe AEM CMS web applications software.

- Expertise in Adobe AEM Web Content Management System, including component development, template creation, and content authoring functionalities.

- Proven experience with e-commerce integration within AEM projects.

- Strong proficiency in Vue.js for UI design and development.

- Solid experience in designing and developing enterprise systems using Java/J2EE & related technologies.

- Extensive development experience across a range of web technologies :

1. Adobe AEM

2. JavaScript

3. CSS

4. HTML

5. jQuery

6. AngularJS (familiarity is a plus)

7. JSP

8. Java/J2EE

9. SQL Server

- Hands-on experience with AEM Setup, deployment, and Dispatcher programming.

- Demonstrable experience in AEM Component development using JSP, jQuery, JavaScript, and CSS.

- Understanding of AEM best practices, design patterns, and architecture.

- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) in AEM Development.

- Experience with other front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular).

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
