Role Overview

- We are seeking a skilled AEM Developer with strong backend expertise to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) applications. The role focuses on AEM backend development, integrations, performance, and scalable component architecture.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop AEM backend components using Java, Sling Models, OSGi, and JCR

- Build and maintain AEM components, templates, dialogs, and workflows

- Develop custom OSGi services and bundles

- Implement AEM REST APIs and integrate AEM with external systems

- Customize and manage AEM workflows, schedulers, and listeners

- Work with AEM Dispatcher for caching, security, and performance optimization

- Perform content migration using tools like ACS Commons / Groovy Console

- Collaborate with front-end developers on HTL (Sightly) integration

- Ensure code quality through unit testing and code reviews

- Support deployments and CI/CD pipelines

Technical Skills Must Have :

AEM & Adobe Stack :

- Adobe Experience Manager 6.x / AEM as a Cloud Service

- Sling Models

- OSGi Framework

- JCR (CRX / Oak)

- HTL (Sightly)

Backend / Java :

- Strong Java (Java 8+)

- Servlets & Filters

- RESTful API development

- Maven

Integrations & Performance :

- REST / SOAP integrations

- AEM Dispatcher configuration

- Caching strategies & performance tuning

- Security best practices (ACLs, permissions)

DevOps & Tools (Good to Have) :

- CI/CD : Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions

- Version control : Git

- SonarQube

- Cloud Manager (for AEMaaCS)

- Docker (basic)

Testing & Quality :

- JUnit
